Welting pocket size

Height range from 10 to 40mm (from the outer fabric flap) and width range from 10cm to 21cm. Adjustable directly from panel without setting needle gauge (distance). NB: for significant needle gauge it is necessary to replace the JIG (20min).

Choose the convenient welting pockets pattern from panel and adjusable size with no mechanical interventions.

2 workstations

Double workstation allows the operator to load welting pocket on second support while the first one is still working.

1 pocket every 20s

Welting pocket process is very elaborate: it involves 6 operations to perform manual or semi-automatic action using 2-needle welting pocket machine; moreover, the pocket has to be manually revolted, bartacked and top-stitched. Jack J5 performs six operations and whole process automatically in just 20s.

Semi-automatic machine, in addition to not performing revolting pocket, bartacking and top stitching processing, require external devices such as zipper attaching, declutchable needle for parallelogram pocket and needle gauge mechanical adjustment for different heights welting pockets. In addition, the cost would be equal or greater than J5 (without considering production process).

JIG (template)

For significant setting it may be necessary to modify the JIG (template) (average time 20min).

Parallelogram shape welting

Laser cutting device avoids knives wear that always will remain clean. Furthermore, single needle gear performs parallelogram shape welting pocket saving.
